Earth Day 2018 :who started the 'Earth Day' and why 22 April day?
Today 22 April 2018 the whole world is celebrating World Earth Day. Google's doodle is also celebrated to World Earth Day today. Without the environment, we can not imagine our life in this world. That is why we celebrate Earth Day every year on 22nd April to protect the environment and protect the Earth and take a resolution for its protection.
Earth Day , which was celebrated on April 22 every year, started by a U.S. senator, Gala Nelson. After seeing the huge waste of oil spills in Santa Barbara, California in 1969, he was so much offended that he decided to start it with respect to environmental protection. From 1970 to 1990, it was spread to the whole world and since 1990 it has been celebrated as international day. This is a program that billions of people celebrating every year and this is probably one of those programs which is celebrated as the best.
Thousands of People became part of the movement
On April 22,2018, Earth Day marked the beginning of the modern environmental movement. About 2 million Americans participated with the goal of a healthy, sustainable environment. Thousands of schools and universities organized demonstrations against environmental degradation. Earth Day proved to be popular in America and the world. On September 22, 1990, the recycling efforts were appreciated throughout the world and paved the way for the 1992 UN Earth Convention. Through this,network of Earth Day, workers can interconnect changes in national, local and international policies.
Global warming , Earth in danger
we have been holding World Earth Day for so many years and giving message of environmental protection of the country and the world. But this the threat of hovering over the earth has remained the same. The biggest danger is that it is from global warming. The constant level of temperature increasing is called global warming. Presently it is emerging as a big problem in front of the whole world. It is believed that the main reason for the global warming of the Earth's atmosphere is the increase in the level of greenhouse gases. If it was ignored and to get rid of it, immediately after the steps of the whole world were not taken, then the day is not far when the earth will move on its end.
As claimed by Stanford Medical, It's in fact the one and ONLY reason this country's women get to live 10 years more and weigh an average of 19 kilos less than we do.
